What Causes Severe Headaches And Nausea?
I ve had very bad headaches for the past three weeks I have never had these types of headaches before. They get so bad I need to lie in the dark and I get very nauseous , I took paracetomol for a week and it wasn t working after the week so my psychiatrist prescribed me half beta prograne 80mg as he thought the headaches were because of anxiety a week later and I am still suffering . What could these headaches be from ?

First of all rule out hypertension by measuring blood pressure.
If blood pressure high than treated with suitable medication.
As nausea associated it could be migraine like condition for which sumatriptan can be prescribed.
Smoking, lack of sleep, excess anxiety disorder etc can be the possibility
Consult physician for examination
