Hello, I m wondering i you could possibly give some some possible reasons as to why a 82 year old female may be experiencing pain in her head. The pain has been so terrible that she felt light-headed and that she became disoriented. she is in the hospital, but the doctors are unable to find the cause.

Hello,
For such an elderly patient with headache, first I would do a ct scan of the brain,if that comes out to be normal,
keeping in mind the stroke like symptoms I would order an m.r.i. brain with contrast, then treat accordingly, have these been done??
I find this answer helpful
