What Causes Severe Headaches?

Hello, a friend of mine has a serve headache but doesn t have any way to get medication. He has tried everything that was online for the home remedies like putting a warm wash cloth over his eyes and he has tried the shower. Is there anything else that he can do before he has to make a trip to the hospital because it hurts so bad?? Please help. I dont like my friend being in this type of pain. Thank you.

First of all as headache is severe his blood pressure has to be checked. Kindly let me know whether headache is unilateral or bilateral? If congestive symptoms associated than it can led headache. Ear infection, tooth infection can led referred headache. According to cause specific treatment can be given. Hypoglycemia, lack of sleep, smoking, etc. can aggravate headache.
