What Causes Severe Heart Burn And Pain In Upper Back?

I have been having terrible heart burn over the last couple months, never experienced this before. It comes on in the evening and it kills to eat dinner sometimes or to drink a glass of wine. The pain is excruciating. Now this morning I woke up with a terrible pain in my upper back (chest area) and it hasn t stopped. What should I do?

Hi there.
You could be suffering from gastritis or stomach ulcer. Kindly get an Endoscopy done to confirm, by your Gastroenterologist. Avoid fatty, spicy, oily food, smoking and alcohol.
