What Causes Severe Heart Pain?
What could it be if my dads heart hurts some times with a strong sharp where he can't even sleep and sometimes it hurts but not as much but at the same time it does .my dads age is around 45 .what do u guys think it could be..... =/ help me pls thank u I don't want him to die please :'(

Hi dear..
All chest pain are not due to heart disease.often acid peptic diseases cause severe chest pain.
But he need evaluation to rule out heart diseases. A base line ECG and chest xray may give some clue. Sometimes he may require further investigation like stress testing ( TMT etc.)
So consult a cardiologist.
