What Causes Severe Hip And Leg Pain In Supine Position?

When I sleep My hips hurt so bad that I have to prop it up on my boyfriend to make it stop. (a pillow is not high enough) And my legs and feet hurt that kicking the bed or shaking them back a forth for hours helps release some of the pain. (the shaking happens non-stop in my sleep) What could be the problem?
