Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Hip Pain And Migraine Headache?
I have a history of migraines and then 3 months ago my right leg started giving way. My right hip joint was very painful and it was extremely difficult to walk or even to get up from a chair. Then over the next couple of weeks it progressed to my hips, my hips literally felt like someone was trying to crush them. Then over the next few weeks I began having pain that radiated from the middle of my back up to my neck. It was painful to lean back against a seat or to turn left or right. When I turn you can hear clicking sounds, when I go to get up from bed you can hear that same clicking sound in my legs and feet. I am 48 yrs old female. I have several MRIs, they have found some slight concerns at the T1- T2, L4 to S2, C5-C7, T11-T12. Right now I have gone to 2 doctors have received a few torodol shots which haven t helped trying to get answers. Negative RA test.
As the amount of pain is highly considerable and not relieving by conventional torodol shots, nerve compression at spinal cord level or avascular necrosis of hip joint is main concern to be ruled out.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
