What Causes Severe Hip Pain Making Me Limp?

Hi. Ive had hip pain for nearly 4 months. This pain is making it hard for me to stand and ive been limping badly all this time. Now I have just noticed a red rash in my groin area. Ive had xrays and blood tests and these have all come back normal but this was before the rash came up. Many thanks from john dimmick
