Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having hot flashes for about 4 months...my doctor said that after testing I am not entering menopause yet - I am 49 years old & had a hysterectomy 16 years ago - I still have my ovaries. What else could be causing this? I recently left a very stressful work environment & am feeling much better, eat well, do yoga 2x day & am very active but the hot flashes persist. I tried Black Cohosh briefly but it upset my stomach. I appreciate any thoughts Thanks - Connie
Hello, I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. In my opinion before attaining menopause you will have similar symptoms. Your menopause may take time but you will develop the features early. Usually it will happen due to hormonal imbalance and you need some contraceptive pills if you cannot tolerate.
Hope this answers your query.
Regards, Dr.Alekhya.
