What Causes Severe Itchiness In The Arm And Neck?
Hi, I hope so. I started itching real bad on my arms yesterday. I went to put lotion on thinking that it was just dry skin, but noticed my face & ears and neck were real read and then checked my arms and noticed it was on my back, sides of breast & body and in my knee area. It went away after about an hour, but about 20 minutes ago started again and it s worse now on most of my body. Also, there is a hot feeling in my neck and face area, kind of like sunburn.

A generalized rash which is itching is very commonly due to an allergic reaction.
This may be the case for you.
You may want to consider using an oral antihistamine to see if this helps. Antihistamines are available over the counter eg benadryl, claritine, zytec, allegra
You may need to use one of these for 24 to 48 hours at the recommended dosing interval.
