What Causes Severe Itchiness In The Penis Shaft?

The bottom area of my penis under the head of my penis, I think the corona or frenulum started itching 24 hours ago and then I saw some reddish bumps on it and some smaller red pots on the top of penis on head. The area between the shaft and head seems irritated or inflamed. It feels and looks a little different than normal. It itches pretty bad and I put benadryl gel on it which helped some. Any ideas? If its not better by tomorrow I m going to urgent care.
