What Causes Severe Itchiness On The Scalp And Groin Area?

I passed out last night. What happened is that I was sleeping all right. Went to bed around 11:30 as a matter of routine. Around 3:40 I started feeling itching in my scalp that gradually spread all over the face as well. Then it started in the groin region. I have had itching in groin a few times over the last couple of years but Glod Bond powder gives releif. A itching spread all over the body, my wife also woke up and applied Gold Bond Powder spray thoroughly. I went back to bed feeling very cold. A little later I got up again as I felt like taking a shower but fell down at the bathroom door. I was down for well over 30 minutes while my wif egot paniccked and couldn t even think of calling an Ambulance or calling any relatives for help. I have Asthma and take Symbicort and Cingulair on a regular basis and never had any heart related problem. Wondering if I can get some advice and/or guidance. Thanks!
