What Causes Severe Itching All Over The Body?

ok, so, i think i caught herpes and im worried.. to say the least. i have been having itchiness all over, but what worries me is i have had an itch on the right side of the head of my penis and that is what concerns me the most aside from the other itchiness ive been feeling all over my body. what should i do? other consult my doctor, but im not sure. please help

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe itching all over the body which is because of clogging of skin pores with bacteria, debris and sebum and skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented. It is due to poor and compromised immunity of body and increased susceptibility of getting infected. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cream rich in Azelaic acid or Kojic acid. You should use medicated sunscreen such as Tancare rich in SPF 30. You can visit dermatologist once and can go for chemical peeling or micro abrasion if your symptoms not resolving. Take supplements rich in vitamin C. Avoid applying any hard cosmetics. You should start with antihistamine medication such as Benadryl. Apply cold compresses on body.
