What Causes Severe Itching All Over The Body?

My wife is suffering with overall body itching. The spots look like bits, but are not. The Doc is not sure what it is. She is taking Bynadril and antibiotic. Bad in pelvic region and abdomen. It started two months ago. Now it is really driving her crazy. P!ease help!!!!

Hi,

I understand your concern.

Bad itchiness on abdomen and pelvis could be due to parasites infestation (perhaps scabies).

Get a skin scrapping examination done together with examination of hair.

Fungal infection (tinea) should be also ruled out by skin scrapping examination.

Discuss this further with dermatologist.
