What Causes Severe Itching Along With Outbreak Of Welts On Hands And Legs?

For the first time in my 53 years, I believe I have broken out in hives. This began this past Saturday. Both of the tops of my feet were itching badly. The next thing I know, I have about 8 of my right side broken out in welts. Again, itching badly. By today, this has spread to my forearms, wrists, and hands; especially the palms. Anti itch cream seems to help along with Benadryl. My skin feels very tight in these areas and I have raised welts throughout. They seem to disappear and then appear in other areas. Any thoughts?

You do seem to have had allergy to something and you need to be seen as you will most likely require a short course of steroids like prednisolone to have this treated.
So go to your doctor ASAP and get this sorted out.
