What Causes Severe Itching And White Spots On Legs, Arms And Back?

I have been having a terrible itch problem on my legs, arms and back. Little pimple-like spots appear and sometimes develop into white scab-like spots. On my lower legs it lessens and comes back . It mostly bothers me early evening. I moved to Sarasota, FL one year ago and thought it might be from the heat, but now it s cooler and still persists.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain itching on arms, legs and back along with little pimple like spots can be due to allergic reaction to some unknown allergen and can also be de to Contact Dermatitis..
The common allergens are detergents, poison ivy, latex, leather, skin cosmetics,sea foods, side effects of medication etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and he can advise you allergic tests like Patch test, RAST test, food challenge test etc to rule out the exact cause of allergic reaction and treat you accordingly..
The best way to prevent allergic attack is to prevent exposure to allergen..
You can take anti allergics like Allegra, Levocetrizine etc to prevent itching and apply steroid ointment to relieve itching and soothe the skin..
Applying Calamine lotion can also help..
You can also do cool compresses..
An immunotherapy can be instilled to reduce the severity of allergic reaction..
