What Causes Severe Itching Between The Inner Thigh And Vagina?

The crease between my upper inner thigh and vagina area (on both left and right creases) have been itchy the past few days. It burns as well. No bumps, feels almost smooth. Sentiment to touch. Does Not affect my vagina at all. Just the creases on both sides of my vagina. No smell. Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there . I have read through your question and would like to tell you that you seemed to have developed a tinea cruris infection also known as Jock's itch. It is a type of fungal infection. I would advise you to follow the following instructions- 1. Apply an antifungal cream like Miconazole in the area. 2. Wash the area with warm water and mild soap. 3. Keep the area dry. 4. Wear loose cotton undergarments. You must get relieved in a week s time. If it does not cure consult a dermatologist. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
