What Causes Severe Itching Between The Toes On The Feet?
My feet otch horribly after wearing my shoes. Normally in in the arches of my feet but sometimes in more than that one place. Inbetween my toes dont itch but the bottoms of my big toes do sometimes. The itching is unbarable and sometimes does it for hours after wearing my shoes. And thats the only time it happens.
This happening most because of fungal infection called tinea pedis. Tinea pedis is caused by several types of fungal organisms. Most individuals note an itching sensation as well as cracking. peeling or scaly skin. It is caused by fungi that thrive in moist and warm environments such showers and under socks left in shoes. Skin is the body’s natural barrier, and any break in the skin can allow an infection to set in. 1. Apply locally a cream containing miconazole, clobetasol and gentamicin such as Lobate – GM cream thrice daily 2. Frequently change your sock and shoe to avoid moisture 3. Shoes should be rotated; don’t wear the same shoes two days in a row 4. Allow time for feet to be exposed without any covering 5. Thoroughly dry the space between the toes after shower. You can use hair dryer for this purpose Thanks
