What Causes Severe Itching During Summers?

Did you ever experience Heat Breakdown? You will feel it when the temperature of your body or the weather gets hotter. Then it feels likes Pins and Niddles is stabbing everywhere and you re getting itchy with no sign of allergies. It just came back when I m about to sweat by doing exercise, eating spicy foods, exposed in sunlight, heat or get anger/anxious/nervous. Does anyone feel this? Or How can I prevent this.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to heat urticaria.

As a first line management, you can take antihistamines like Cetirizine for itching. You can apply low potency steroid creams like Betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
