What Causes Severe Itching In Between The Penis And Scrotum Post Circumcision?
Hi, My 7 year old had a circumcision 12 days ago and all is going well, still looks red but healing. He has an almost unbearable itch at the bottom of the penis where it connects to the scrotum. I have tried a bath and then put some vaseline on the area but nothing is helping. Please help..

You may want to try a mild steroid cream or anti histamine cream if available.
Eg of a mild steroid is hydrocortisone. Because it is mild, it is available over the counter.
The use of an oral anti histamine, eg benadryl which is also over the counter, may also help.
