What Causes Severe Itching In The Genital Area When Suffering From UTI?

I was treated for a UTI while on vacation in the Boston area Sunday morning. Severe itching in the urethra area. I was given antibiotics, taken every 12 hours yesterday and today. I was feeling better early today, but now the itching and feeling very uncomfortable in the genitile area. No intercourse lately or other causes to irritate it.

In urinary tract infection urethral itching can occur. ..

Just now for UTI drink more water ....
Complete the course of antibiotic....
Avoid excess spicy foods ....
Fruits more ...

If after few days still itching remain than get your genital area examined by doctor to rule out inflammation and fungal infection...

Clean your genital area properly with soap and water daily ...
Wear loose garments ...

Rule out diabetis also by blood sugar estimation....
If needed urine culture can be done ....
