What Causes Severe Itching In The Left Ear?

Hello, I have had an itch deep inside my left ear for a couple of months now. Only my left ear. Can you tell me what it might be and/or a possible ear drop or over the counter treatment I could use? Very frustrating and uncomfortable! Thank you for your time!

@ Seems most likely ear wax as a culprit .
@ Recommend Wax-Vac ear wax remover 5-10 drops 2 times a day for 5
days
Benadryl morning and evening after meals for 2-3 days .
