What Causes Severe Itching In The Lower Legs While On Furosemide?

Hi my doctor has prescribed furosemide 20mg to treat swelling in my feet and legs the first few days were no prob but for the past 8 days I am suffering crazy itching in both lower legs and feet the course was for 14 days and I now have 1 tablet left I haven t slept with the itching for a week now just a couple of hours after about 5am when I m exhausted.

The severe itching is usually not concerned at the 14 days of drug intake as side effect profile. However, it is recommended to apply aloe vera gel, consume anti-histamine medicines and consult your doc for further action.
