What Causes Severe Itching On The Feet And Ankles?

I have both of my feet itch, mostly across the top and around my ankles. I have a few raised areas thatImay be insect bites, but the itching is all over my feet.over the counter remedies haven t helped and the itching is worse when I laid down for sleep. I do have dogs.

Hi,

It may be due to fungal infection affecting the feet otherwise known as tinea pedis.

You can try topical anti fungal ointments like Clotrimazole for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
