What Causes Severe Itching On The Hands And Feet?

For a few years now, I’ve been suffering on and off from severe itching. It happens a few times a year, and it happens during all seasons. It will start off with itching usually in my hands and feet and over the nexts 1 to 2 weeks spread all over my body. My back, hands, feet, legs, even my head itches sometimes. It’s not from dry skin and keeps me up most nights. I’ve tried different any itch lotions and nothing works. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello,

You can use Dettol soap for body and apply calamine lotion on that affected part.

Take fluconazole medicine once a day for two days and also add cetirizine twice a day for itching. You can consult a skin specialist for the permanent cure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
