What Causes Severe Itching Sensation In Vagina After Menstruation?

Hi, I took postinor 2 and a week after my period came and my last period was two weeks before. Second day of period after taking pill, there is this itching in my vagina that continued through to day 5 when period ended. Day 6 after period still have itching. Could it be the pill, or an infection?

It is mostly due to vaginal fungal infection for which you can take antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl or doxy after an expert opinion along with cetrizine or avil for itching. You can take fole 150 mg or use clingen-forte vaginal pessary to put into the vagina once daily for at-least 5 days. Maintain the hygiene of private part by regular washing or use v-wash vaginal gel for local application.
