What Causes Severe Itching Sensation In Vaginal Opening After Having Intercourse?

Hi, i am 23. I m having itching from last 3 days in vaginal Area like on vaginal openings, clitoris, etc. I have not taken any medication for this. There is a bit of white discharge but not regular. I m not involved in sexual intercourse since last 2 weeks. Please suggest some ointment. Its very itchy. Thanku

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to yeast infection most likely. A swab test will be helpful to rule out the condition. For such case i would recommend using clotrimazole cream for local application. This is available as over the counter in brands like monistat. You can also use intimate wash daily to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH which will help to prevent getting further infections.
