What Causes Severe Knee Pain Radiating To The Foot?

For the second time, with several months between, I had a very severe pain start behind my left knee. The pain brought me to tears and it lasted about 5 minutes. Then the pain left my knee and seemed to travel down my leg to my foot. That took about another 3-5 minutes. When it got to my foot area it was not very painful any longer. It then went totally away with no lasting effects.

Greetings regarding your symptoms of knee pain that travel down to your foot I am very sure you are gradually developing osteoarthritis(migrating type) please do an x-ray of the knee joint meanwhile take tablet nurofen multivitamin capsules pending result of the x-ray
