What Causes Severe Left Sided Abdominal Pain With Rectal Pressure?

I have severe pain on the left side, had n/v yesterday and fever, took 3 motrin and 2 extra strength excedren and slept 8 hours, then woke up took 3 motrin went back to bed, could not hardly eat breakfast at 1100, did better with dinner, but the pain is not getting better and travels to the right at time.i feel like I need a BM lots of pressure, I am a woman had hestrectomy 15 years ago

I really appreciate your concern, for the pain taking too much medicine is not good and it need to be clinically examined instead if condition is not improving, self medication is not advisable as long as your history and symptoms are concern, underlying cause would be matter of concern, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
