What Causes Severe Left-sided Chest Pain Radiating Towards The Ear?
My dad is 68 years old. He says his chest hurts and it hurts when he breathes(when he inhales). When he sleeps the pain is worse. The pain is more on his left side of the chest and once in awhile he gets a shooting pain from his chest to his ear. He also has a hard time swallowing food. He doesnt smoke and he has no know health problems, other than gout. Lately, he has had a lot of stress due to bills and etc. Can you help us? Thank you, for you time.
Meet your general physician for ECG possibly Tread Mill test with cardac enzyme marker Trop-I test. at the same time ask him to rule out costochondritis of the costochondral margins of the chest since he suffers with Gout. Take care.
