Good evening, I have been experiencing severe headaches today; 3 separate occasions. It seems to begin in my temple area and then radiates throughout the left side of my head. The pain is a sharp, throbbing, pressurized type of pain. The pain makes it difficult to drive, walk, and see. I have no previous history of migraines. I do, however have issues with my sinuses. This pain is something I have never experienced before. Do you have any idea what this could be? Your input is greatly appreciated.
Although sinus headache is a possibility the best way to diagnose that sort of headache is by seeing your doctor (or local neurologist) who will get a thorough history and get appropriate tests such as a CT of the sinuses to tell whether or not there is a fluid filled reason for your headaches.
Otherwise, you could be suffering from migraine headaches or (based upon the augmented frequency of 3 in one day) some form of Trigeminal Autonomic Cephalalgia such as paroxysmal hemicrania, jabs and jolts, or just hemicrania continua.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further by contacting me at: www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi.
