What Causes Severe Leg Pain After Taking Neulasta Injection?

My wife had her first Neulasta injection and 5 days after she began to have severe leg pain in calves, thighs and posterior. So bad needed oxycodon on 4 hour cycle still has pain. Goes away for awhile, returns . She is due for 2nd treatment in 3 days. Concerned if pain could be worse and if there are real alternatives.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is not related to Neulasta.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
