What Causes Severe Lower Abdominal Pain?

Dr Nirja, i have sever pain in my lower abdomen since last one week, i went to my doc she asked me to do Urine RE. In result it shows (Appearance Slightly Turbid ), Specific Gravity 1.030,W.B.C./HPF 10-12,Epithelial Cells 15-20. I am 24 weeks pregnant. please tell me is there any problem. Regards, Ruby

You are having UTI. Get a urine culture and sensitivity test done to know the most suitable antibiotic to control the infection. Amoxycillin is the safest choice during pregnancy. However consult your gynaecologist.
