General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The left lower quadrant pain with positive ANA test may indicate underlying immune related disturbances with GI functioning of colon, associated diverticula or others. A diagnostic ultrasound is first step to proceed and later on there may be requirement of colonoscopy with or without CT scan according to the results of the ultrasound or clinician concern. Meanwhile, you can take tablet dicyclomine or drotaverine to get spasm relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
