What Causes Severe Lower Left Quadrant Pain With This Positive ANA Test Result?
I have had llq pain, progressively getting worse over the last 2 years, n&v also, severe muscle cramps in both legs and feet intermittently. I have had complete workups at shands. Only abnormalities on labs r positive ana (1:80) elev. CRP (10.9) h & h on the low side. Also sudden onset of epilepsy at 33 yo i am currently 51. Plz help me i am desperate for answers
The left lower quadrant pain with positive ANA test may indicate underlying immune related disturbances with GI functioning of colon, associated diverticula or others. A diagnostic ultrasound is first step to proceed and later on there may be requirement of colonoscopy with or without CT scan according to the results of the ultrasound or clinician concern. Meanwhile, you can take tablet dicyclomine or drotaverine to get spasm relief.
