Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Menstrual Cramps And Pain In The Breasts?
I have symtoms of pelvic cancer I have mass on my bladder and have severe acute pain every month with my cycle and also now have severe breast pain..the ER keeps turning me away several times and I am to the point of being in shock from pain please help what do I specifically ask for in the tests
The presence of the symptoms related to menstruation can be due a condition called premenstrual syndrome. treatment can consist of use of ibuprofen regularly during these days and if that does not help they can give you oral contraception that will prevent ovulation and reduce the symptoms. If you have a mass in the bladder confirmed by a doctor you will need to have the proper tests to identify what kind of tumor it is and this will direct the further treatment. If a mass in the bladder is identified probably a cystoscopy would be needed to enter the bladder and take some tissue to be checked in microscope (biopsy).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General & Family Physician
