What Causes Severe Menstrual Cramps?
It is my time of the month. Period showed up on Thursday, usual period for me lasts 4 days with extreme pain, never get brown spotting before or after. But this period had been different, it has been 4 straight days of black discharge almost clot like. Back story, I do suffer from endometriosis and I do regularly have unprotected intercourse, as me and my husband have been thinking of having a child. I am just wondering if there is any cause for concern having been experiencing 4 days of black discharge and constant pain and no sign of my normal period.

Hi I think occasionally it can happen that you may have black discharge during periods. But you should rule out any cervical pathology or infections. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps.
