What Causes Severe Muscle Pain While On Remicade?

I have been on remicade since November. My Crohn/colitis has healed according to my colonoscopy 3 weeks ago. However I m having severe joint and muscle pain ( ongoing for a month) I ve consulted with my doctor. My question is what can I do about the joint and muscle pail. It is in the 6 to 9 scale. I go for another infusion tomorrow. I go every 8 weeks. My doctor gave Meloxicam but it doesn t have any effect.

remicade has made your colitis better but has also resulted in the side effects that you are suffering from.
meloxiicam is an anti-inflammatory and if it is not giving any pain relief we can change your medication.
you can try out tab. rcifax 200 mg twice a day.
plus a prebiotic like Prepro Hs twice a day.
also avoid gluten and lactose.

add fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. exercise daily to take in some vitamin D from the sunlight.
