What Causes Severe Muscle Spasms In The Neck?

21 year old female no serious medical history or conditions, diagnosed with muscle spasms in the neck last week by a doctor in boston, treated with 5 mg dazapam, pain went away, its been 4-5 days free of dazapam and now the pain is much more severe, I cant move my neck up or down without severe pain

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to myalgia.

I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen.

I also recommended using anti-inflammatory cream for local application such as Voltaren cream.
