I had 70 percent blockage determined last year. Because I am in ESRD on dialysis and on kidney transplant list, transplant people had mycatdiologist insert a stent. I was placed onaspirin and my statin changed to lipitor. I had a bad reaction to the lipit o r...horrible myalgia and muscle weakness...but no evidence of muscle wasting, confirmed by blood tests. I stopped taking the lipitor and advised mycardiologist. He did a atress test and ultrasound but I have not had the follow up visit yet. About two or three weeks ago I ran out of my aspirin and kept forgottingto but more, or which I just did yesterday, so this morning was the first dose of aspirin in a while. I have havingstabbing chest pains intermittently which today, sitting at dialysis, have increased in frequenc y and intensity. My question...should I go to er or justcall the czrdio for his advise, or just wait til my follow up appt which has not been scheduled yet. Thank you
