What Causes Severe Nausea And Abdominal Pain Despite Taking Postinor-2 After Sex?

Hi doc I used to use 3 months injection and it expired on 1st October n forgot to take the next injection on 2 and October had sex on that day n took postionor 2 after two hour both drugs then had my injection on 3 rd October n I have had alot of nausea n stomach abdominal pain severe n legs too though I tested negative yesterday for pregnancy what could be the problem

Hi,

You have piled up emergency contraceptive & your 3 monthly deposit shot causing an excess of hormones with imbalance giving the side effect effects of nausea/vomiting.

Both the drugs are already there in your system. Emergency pill effect will wear off in 8-10days. Till then this problem would continue.

The only thing you can do is to take tablet anti-omitting drug like perinorm over the counter once a day only. Consult your Gynac if no relief.
