What Causes Severe Nausea, Sudden Weight Loss And Abdominal Pain?

Hello, My husband has been suffering with abdominal pain, nausea and weight loss for weeks now. His Dr. ordered an ultrasound where a pollup was found on his gall bladder and a spot on his liver. He was sent to a Gastroenterologist who felt the gall bladder wasn t anything to worry about. He ordered a MRi, and scope in the coming weeks. He never mentioned checking my husband s pancreas. Should we request that he check.

Hello,

You should ideally wait for MRI report which will definitely comment on the pancreas as well as other abdominal organs. Rest of the things will be decided after MRI report only. Till then you can give him some anti emetic medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
