What Causes Severe Nausea While Having A Multi-glandular Mass In The Thyroid?

Hello, I have a best friend who just got results back from a test she had done that confirms she has a multi-glandular mass on her thyroid. She has passed out twice in the last 6 months, has gotten very nauseated, and has gone to the ER both times. A needle biopsy has been recommended, but she was not able to talk to her doctor today and can not be seen until Jan. 5. We, of course, are very concerned about what this diagnosis means.

Also she needs to do a total blood count and a biochemical blood balance. Diabetes or prediabetes may be cause of reactive hypoglycemia. Also the measurements of thyroid nodules should be evaluated because they may cause breathing difficulties.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
