What Causes Severe Neck Pain And Numbness In The Hands?

i had neck fusion of c3,c4,c5,c6 it did not fuse c5,c6 and having a lot of pain in back of neck sharp shooting pain also hands going numb for long periods of time never had that before my ackcident after ackcident the numbness started and pain but worse after surgury. the surgen said that i must have rumitoid never had it before?
