What Causes Severe Pain After Appendix Surgery?
Hello I am post op of having my appendix out it had been 14 days today and I am still in a lot of pain and bed bound, I can hardly walk I am taking codine for the pain but it does not seem to work I have lots of gas and extremely bloated the pain is so bad I feel nauseas at times please help?!

Hi,
I don't think this is normal after appendicectomy. You should have been better soon after. I suppose you may be suffering an infection.
Go to the hospital immediately to get evaluated. Antibiotics may be needed.
