Hi,

There are several potential causes of severe pain after sitting on an exercise ball for an extended period. One possibility is that you may have developed a pressure sore or skin irritation from the constant pressure on your skin. This can be exacerbated if the ball is not properly inflated or if you are sitting on it with poor posture.

Another potential cause of pain is muscle strain or injury. Sitting on an exercise ball requires you to engage your core muscles to maintain balance, which can lead to muscle fatigue and strain over time. This can cause pain and discomfort in your lower back, hips, and legs.

It's also possible that you may have developed an infection or other medical condition. The burning sensation you are experiencing could be a symptom of a urinary tract infection or another type of inflammation or infection. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it's important to see a healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis and treatment. They can help determine the underlying cause of your pain and provide appropriate treatment options.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Sitting on an exercise ball for prolonged periods can cause discomfort and pain, particularly if you are not used to it. In some cases, this pain may be due to pressure on certain areas of the body, such as the lower back or tailbone. Additionally, if the exercise ball is not the correct size or properly inflated, it can cause discomfort and pain.

The pain and burning sensation you are experiencing may also be due to a skin irritation or injury caused by friction between your skin and the exercise ball. This irritation may have led to a fungal or bacterial infection, which may require medical attention.

It is recommended to speak with your healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms and appropriate treatment options. They can evaluate your condition and provide personalized recommendations for treatment and management. In the meantime, it may be helpful to avoid sitting on the exercise ball for prolonged periods and to use a cushion or other support to relieve pressure on sensitive areas.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
