What Causes Severe Pain And Discomfort Below The Ribs Post Cholecystectomy?

I am a 54 year old male and I have had my gall bladder removed. But I now have pain and discomfort on my left side of my stomach below my ribs. If I stand up or lie down for a while the pain eases off. I also take a powder medicine mixed with water to help control diarrhea since after my surgery 2 years ago. The pain hurts like I need to burp, but cant. What could this be????

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such pain may not be due to bladder history (Removed) but could be due to some hyperacidity phenomenon and it can be well managed with "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg" once in day at evening time, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
