What Causes Severe Pain And Inflammation In The Shoulders?

Both of my shoulders ache, especially early in the morning. I often wake up in pain. My right shoulder is far worse than the left. It also hurts when I lift my arm over my shoulder. Anti-inflammatorys help a little to relieve the early morning pain, but I don t want to take them every night. I think I may have hurt my shoulders the winter before last overdoing it cross-country skiing up and down a steep little mountain. They hurt for a while after that, and the last half year or so it s come back worse now. I don t remember a specific incident where I pulled something, but I m active outdoors and like kayaking and things like that.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such shoulder pain could be due to arthritis or it may be due to frozen shoulder and these needs some test for confirmation so it is advisable to get done the x-ray test till then Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day can be tried and it is even advisable to see the physiotherapist hope this information helps.
