What Causes Severe Pain And Soreness In The Legs?

Hello, i need urgent advice and help for a friend of mine, please. She called me today in a lot of pain saying that she cannot use her legs. Yesterday she felt soreness in her legs so she walked around the block and today she said her legs hurt so bad she cannot take off her pants nor walk to the restroom without being in excruciating pain. There is more to her health background but i wish to get a response before i continue to disclose some personal information about my friend. Thank you, i really hope you can help me!

Excruciating pain in legs can be due to many reasons like recent involvement in an accident, severe muscle spasm, muscle weakness due to some underlying illness.

For the exact cause, I would advice you to take your friend to a doctor and get detailed examination done as per the doctor’s advice. Without much history it won’t be appropriate to come to any conclusion.

Along with finding out the cause of the issue, your friend needs to get some symptomatic medical treatment so that she gets some relief.

Your doctor will further decide if there is need of any specific medical tests to be run. Once the underlying cause is identified it will be easy to treat her.
