Hello,

You have a history of sore in your left leg, it looks like infection is spreading hence you have pain in the groin as well as the legs. Leg pain can also be due to varicose veins or poor circulation, stress or sciatic nerve pain, PAD, peripheral artery disease, DVD, etc.

1. Pain can be reduced by rest, elevation of the leg on a stool while sitting or keeping the leg elevated on a pillow while on the bed.
2. Gentle massage & stretch exercises can be helpful.
3. Avoid dehydration, Compression bandage effectively reduces pain. Get physically examined & get investigated, get treated at the earliest. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
