What Causes Severe Pain And Tingling Sensation In The Legs And Buttocks?

I have been having episodes of falling. I get severe sharp burning pains, tingling across my buttock and down both of my legs. My legs get numb and I can t walk, they are like 2 bricks very heavy. I get a lot of tingling very frequently even when I am just sitting. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello welcome to the health care magic

You are having peripheral neuropathy problem..

Cause for that should be searched.

Rule out two common cause like vitamin B12 deficiency and diabetes by serum B12 estimation and random blood sugar estimation.

If these two cause not present than liver, kidney profile, systemic disease, Vasculitis, thyroid problem etc needs to be ruled out.
NCV testing also beneficial

Hope your concern solved

Consult neurologist for your physical examination

You can ask further if needed

Take care
